I’m Amanda, an artist based in Harrogate. Much of my work is inspired by the shifting weather, quiet drama and soft light of the Yorkshire landscape. I love working in acrylics for their immediacy and energy, though I’m never put off exploring the depth and richness of the occasional oil painting. Whatever the medium, I’m drawn to atmosphere and emotion — painting the places and moments that stay with me, whether close to home or wherever else inspiration takes me.
